Geordie received his Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kannur University, Kerala India in 2004. He completed his Masters degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Communication Systems at Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 2007. After Masters, he worked as an Engineer at the RF and Communication group of National Instruments R&D, India from July 2007 to December 2008. At National Instruments he worked on development of test and measurement solutions for wireless standards. In 2009 he joined the Center of Excellence in Wireless Technologies(CEWiT) India as a Research Engineer, where he worked on IMT advanced technologies until 2011.

Geordie joined the WiCom Research Group in September 2011 as a PhD student. He is working under the supervision of Prof. Angel Lozano. His research is in the area of signal processing for wireless communication systems, with a focus on the interference channel in cellular networks.
